Powdered Detergent 6120 is a free flowing alkaline powder designed for use as a high pressure batch or continuous conveyorized degreaser. When used as directed, formula 6120 will remove oils, greases and associated soils from a variety of metal surfaces.

Solutions of Powdered Detergent 6120 foam slightly at room temperature. Above 130° F, this foaming tendency subsides and a defoaming mechanism comes into play. Lack of foam in a high pressure recirculated cleaning machine is important. Solutions of 0.50% to 4.0% of formula 6120 should be produced in the washer. Spray nozzles should be in good condition such that they will apply maximum impingement of the cleaning solution on the soil.

Following cleaning, rinse with plain water. All metals of construction can be cleaned with formula 6120. However, soft metals such as aluminum and zinc should not be exposed to very strong solutions of 6120 for extended periods of time at high temperatures. HANDLING

Powdered Detergent 6120 is an alkaline material. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Should contact occur, flush immediately with large amounts of water. If any discomfort persists, seek medical attention. Read relevant Material Safety Data Sheet before handling this product.
